Agenda of 2013 Asian Art And Curatorial Forum
The booklet was published on the occasion of The Asian Art and Curatorial Forum – Artist Forum in Taichung, Taiwan and is based on the topic of the 2013 Asian Art Biennal: Everyday Life. The topic’s aim is “to contextualize the global dynamics and irregular events in recent years, and to trace back to the every day life with cultural essence. (…) In recent years, we notice that the Asian art trend is reflecting the artists’ perception about everyday events, as well as their reconsidering the social systems, as artistic expressions. This also exemplifies the hidden impacts to conventional society and its institutional critical characteristics during the globalization process.”rnrnThe publication includes the forum agenda and biographies of participating artists and collectives:rnKao Jun-Honn (Taiwan), Osang Gwon (Korea), Wei Leng Tay (Singapore), Dylan Martorell (UK/Australia), HONF Foundation (Indonesia), Public Movement (Israel), Sun Yuan & Peng Yu (China), Huang Hua-Chen (Taiwan), Shitamichi Motoyuki (Japan), Lee Kit (Hong Kong), Chiu Chien-Jen (Taiwan), Adeela Suleman (Pakistan), Roslisham Ismail a.k.a.
